Stearne's started business as a water tank builder in the 1950s and branched out into plumbing and windmill sales and installation in the 1960s.

In the seventies, they expanded into engineering, building sheds, transportable houses and grain silos.

From the early eighties on they have diversified into aluminum and glass, having sold their house building and engineering businesses.

They now specialise in water pumps and pumping systems, glass, aluminum and have a comprehensive range of water supply fittings.
